He was an incisive critic of the weak green wedge management plan rammed through by the majority clique, and recently accurately identified the problems with a 150 seat restaurant proposed for the green wedge in Yarrambat.

Grant was a founding member of Friends of Apollo Parkways Inc 2007.This community group has worked effectively to retain open space in the Civic Drive Precinct & avoid spending $18 million on a replacement Shire Office in Eltham. We are confident he will make a valuable contribution to the next Council.
